We love our mothers and mothers love their children… and everything they create! This Mother’s Day, give the mothers in your life a gift that will become even more treasured with each passing year!
I am offering several single day art classes where I will gather stories from your little artist about all of the special qualities about his/her mother and help them to reflect upon some special memories they have had with her over the years. These stories will help me to guide your little artist to create a painting of the two of them, on an 11 x 14 inch deep-edge, gallery-wrapped canvas, representing the unique relationship they share.
Once they finish, I will keep the painting to finish, seal and artfully add the child’s words and stories about their mother, which inspired the piece, onto the sides and the back of the canvas, making this a colorful keepsake that every mother will swoon over!
MiniMAKErs are miniature versions of The StoryMAKEr Project, a new custom side-by-side art experience, which will officially begin in the Fall of 2017.
Sign your child up soon though as spaces are limited and demand is high for these!
Classes are held at my studio located in the upstairs of the Carriage House Gallery, located directly behind the Tulsa Garden Center at 2435 S. Peoria.
*** These sessions are open to 4 year olds whose parents feel that he/she is mature enough to handle an intensive 2.5 hour class. Please use your best judgement. Thank you!*
