A Dreamy Week with Hundertwasser
This artist was beloved when I offered a small two day lesson on him last summer so this summer we are going to give him the entire week!
Freidensreich Hundertwasser was truly a creative genius. A native of Austria, he was a dreamer, a do-er, a painter, a clothes designer, an architect, a builder, an environmentalist, an activist. He was prolific and created a magical body of work to match.
Over the course of the week, we will be exploring many of these areas of his lives with our own artwork! Students will learn about and create both 2-D and 3-D work inspired by Hundertwasser’s paintings, his architectural planning and structures, his environmental passions and even his own clothing! This will truly be a week to dream your world into reality!
A Dreamy Little Art Show will be held on the final day!
Classes are held at my studio located in the upstairs of the Carriage House Gallery, located directly behind the Tulsa Garden Center at 2435 S. Peoria.
* Class is also open to 4 year olds who parents feel are quite mature enough to handle an intensive 3 hour class setting. Please use best judgement, thank you!
